Dave Earl - Marketing Manager (Marketing Manager, Website Development and Management, Photoshoot Management and Social Media)
Marketing Manager Duties:
1. Manage and oversee all Vault/Hive Requests (Scheduling, Implementation, Status updates and Shipping)
2. Approval of all Photography Invoices, submitting to accounting and resolving any issues that arise (see Photoshoot Management Duties below)
3. Onboarding new agents: www.marketing.vanguardproperties.com (Hour long call with new agents and fast tracking those with listings)
4. Special Project requests from Agents: Print and Digital (Scheduling, Implementation and Shipping)
5. Approval of all Employee PTO. Cover everyone, but Nick Spangler while Employees are on Vacation or away
6. Hiring new Marketing Employees, onboarding said Employees and providing immediate feedback to get up to speed and maintain a high quality of work (Mainly using Creative Circle for sourcing new Designers)
7. Oversee and design all Website Development - Listing and Development Websites, Domain Management and Public Implementation of all listings for all agents: Listing websites and vanguardproperties.com (see Website Development and Management Duties below)
8. Oversee and manage all Photoshoots, Scheduling and Filing those assets and delivering those assets to agents and Marketing Team Members (see Photoshoot Management Duties below)
9. New photographer and videographer vendor Approvals for the company and Onboarding those approved (Quality, Delivering, Invoicing and Mentoring)
10. Oversee and manage all Vanguard Properties agent portraits (New and updated shoots for agents - Debra Zeller and Anita Barcsa)
11. Digital Advertising strategy, implementation and results for all agents that request
12. Manage and oversee all video branding, implementation and edits via Chris Sithi (Hosted on Vimeo)
13. Manage and oversee neighborhood photoshoot requests (Adam Potts has been asked to slowly update all of our Neighborhood Photography in Box)
14. Creation, Ordering and shipping of Branded merchandise for Big Developments, Events and one off agent requests
15. Photographer for the Castro Street Fair, Volunteer Day and other Charity Events as they arise
16. Manage, oversee and take on myself all Photo retouching for Facades and other requests from agents (Pablo is doing amazing work for our company)
17. Work with our IT to maintain proper security measures on Box, Mailchimp, Social Media and Email
18. Train agents on various topics: Getting the most out of Marketing, Social Media, and Mailchimp one on one trainings
19. Manage, oversee and provide support for the East Bay and Southern California regions (adding CCAR to our MLS Data feed, secured office for West Hollywood and serviced Christopher Stanley’s needs for all Marketing while at Vanguard Properties and working directly with Ron Mintz to make sure he has what is needed for his agents)
20. Create an open environment for Marketing Staff to bring up issues to and take the proper action to resolve said issues as they arise (Hosting after work parties on a regular basis is the main driving factor for an open environment, in my experience)
21. Manage and oversee all Adwerx Enterprise and Adwerx TV campaigns for agents, developments and the brokerage (contract is expiring March 2021 - My recommendation is to renew for another year)
22. Manage and review current Digital Advertising contracts: Maximize or renegotiate those contracts and services to best serve our agents/brokerage
23. Manage, oversee and post Press Releases for dynamic exposure | www.linkingnews.com (Christine Christiansen, Lori Odisio and Marco Carvajal)
Website Development and Management Duties (Listing websites and VanguardProperties.com):
1. Manage, oversee and critique all listing websites created by Web Designer (Dillon McSwane)
2. Manage and oversee all renewable websites, invoicing and updates on Weelby and Squarespace (billing via Google Sheet)
3. Design and build templates for Developments and Top Agents (Bernie and Mike - New Squarespace Template and PalisadesAtSquaw.squarespace.com)
4. Manage and oversee web developers, like Jeffrey Wisdom, on larger projects requested from Frank and James (mission-modern.com and www.540deharo.com)
5. Manage and oversee that all listings are showing up on agent pages (proper MLS ID), submitting off market listings, agent portraits, biography and working directly with Matt Ewers to maintain accurate information on vanguardproperties.com
6. Actively updating code for all press articles on vanguardproperties.com (source - Management and Mitch Laufer)
7. Actively updating code for all Market Reports on vanguardproperties.com (source - Nick Spangler)
8. Updating the Management page on vanguardproperties.com
9. Run Google Ads for high end properties (www.730euclidavenue.com, mission-modern.com and www.penthouse3b.com)
10. Create Google Analytics accounts on a request basis for agents

13. Providing direction and offering feedback for all agents interested in building out a personal website for their real estate practice

15. Manage, oversee or build out myself - Vanguard Properties Year in Review (www.vgyearinreview.com and www.vgyearinreview2018.com)
Photoshoot Management Duties (Listings and Agent Portraits):
1. Schedule, manage, oversee, critique and approve all invoices for all listing and agent portrait photography
2. Direct all photo shoots in San Francisco with the preferences set out by each agent (William Truong, Open Homes Photography, Aerial Canvas are the key vendors in SF)
3. Onboard and negotiate a $300 base fee for all new approved photographers and provide them with all information needed to work with Vanguard Properties
4. Manage and oversee Debra Zeller and Anita Barcsa for all Vanguard Properties Portraits (Debra is our bulk portrait photographer and Anita is our high end portrait photographer that travels to the agent for the photo shoot)
5. Manage and oversee the processing of all portraits (Anne Doyle is currently processing all portraits for the company)
6. Maintaining a one on one relationship with all approved photographers to improve workflow and quality of all imagery
7. Ensure that all assets received are filed correctly and available to Marketing Team members, Agents and Management
8. Submit $300 reimbursement invoices to accounting for agents that used Open Homes Photography, Olga Soboleva or Jim Ford
Social Media Management Duties (Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn):
1. Curate imagery + video, compile copy, website link, hashtags and post to Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn (3 times max a day -including stories for Instagram and Facebook)
2. Responding to comments and direct messages ASAP on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
3. Boosting property listing video on Facebook and Instagram (10 days for $100 minimum )
4. Blocking negative individuals on all three platforms (typically happens on Instagram and Facebook)
5. Creating and sending property listing Story videos to top agents (Frank, Marco, Jean-Paul, Massimo, etc.)
6. Engage with current realtors in our brokerage and other agents in the regions we operate to maintain a steady growth of followers (Vanguard Properties had 1,700 followers when I started and now we are almost to 4,000 followers on Instagram. I know that doesn’t sound impressive, but the engagement stats inform us that we have a strong organic level of focused and consistent growth)
